Johnson Carlier Construction, an Arizona-based general contractor, recently completed construction of the two-story parking deck attached to Yavapai County Criminal Justice and Detention Center.
Located in historic downtown Prescott, the 52,844 square-foot structure replaces the old parking lot. The upper-level features traffic coating, which will help protect the structure for the coming years. A total of 147 parking stalls have been added, creating much-needed space for the detention center and sheriff’s office.
“We’re quite happy with our work on this project, as it was especially important that we were able to keep the Yavapai County Sherriff’s Sally Port open during the construction,” said Matt Woodburn of Johnson Carlier. “The new parking deck provides ample space and improved traffic flow for those working and visiting the criminal justice center.”
Johnson Carlier Construction, the oldest Arizona-based general contractor, is an independently managed entity of the Big-D family of companies.
