Michael Pollack Transforms His Chandler Shopping Center at Alma School and Elliot

May 22, 2019

When it comes to renovating shopping centers, there is no one better known for accomplishing some of the Valley’s best transformations than Real Estate Entrepreneur Michael Pollack.

Known for his retail center renaissance, the owner of Pollack Investments is getting ready to rehab his Pollack Paseo Del Oro shopping center at the NE corner of Alma School and Elliot located at 3029 N. Alma School Rd.

Crews began May 15th on the 125,000 square-foot center which holds national retailers like Zia Records and Compass Bank, to name a few. Pollack’s renovations include new stone design work, awnings, repaved parking lot, updated landscape and brand new painting.

The center received a partial facelift 7 years ago, but with the center at almost 95-percent occupied, Pollack said it was time for a complete overhaul. All the renovations are expected to take 90 days.

“This final renovation and transformation is just simply the right thing to do for the neighborhood,” said Pollack.  “We’ve done several tremendous renovations transforming neighborhoods at many shopping centers that have my name on them up and down Alma School Road.  That is what led us to this project. It is the right time for a complete renovation to improve the beautification of the area, making it the real ‘show stopper’ of the neighborhood.”

Among Pollack’s past renovations on Alma School Road; the SE and SW corners of Alma School and Ray, SW corner of Alma School and Elliot, NW corner of Alma School and Galveston, and a full city block on the Westside of Alma School between Warner and Elliot.
