Nov/Dec ACC Magazine Featuring H & J Construction Now Available

November 4, 2019

Who would have thought a print publication launched in 2012 would still be flourishing 8 years later?

Arizona Contractor & Community magazine has just released our 36th issue that is focused on the H & J Construction Co., one of the Valley’s most innovative mid-century construction companies.

The business was started in 1949 on a shoestring budget by brothers, Harry and John Riskas. But 14 years later, when H & J Construction moved its operations to the Bay Area, the company had 1,500 employees on the payroll.

Copies are available via the ACC website or at Books on 7th Avenue in Phoenix, or at the Ignite Sign Art Museum in Tucson.
