Joel Canchola Joins Burns & McDonnell in Arizona to Lead and Expand Construction/Design-Build Services Across the Southwest

Joel Canchola joins Burns & McDonnell to lead and grow the firm’s construction/design-build services in the Southwest. Within his 15-year career in construction management, Joel has led major-capital projects for critical infrastructure clients in the commercial, healthcare, manufacturing, residential and transportation sectors.

The firm’s construction/design-build team in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, supports a wide range of markets including electrical transmission and distribution, commercial, aviation and energy projects.

 

Burns & McDonnell, a 100% employee-owned engineering, architecture and construction firm, established its presence in Arizona in 1999. In 2019, the firm was named Engineering News-Record Southwest’s Design Firm of the Year.

 

Joel is a member of the Arizona Builders Alliance and the Partners in Construction committee through the American Subcontractor Association of Arizona. He received his bachelor’s degree in construction management from Arizona State University.
