JOHNSON CARLIER COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION ON PINAL COUNTY COMPLEX

The construction of court facilities designed to house both the Western Pinal Justice Court and Maricopa Municipal Court – a $10.5 million project – was recently completed by Johnson Carlier Construction, an Arizona-based general contractor.

The new complex, located in Maricopa at 20025 N. Wilson Ave., consists of two new single-story buildings totaling more than 32,000 square feet. The larger building wraps around the existing courts building, which also received various renovations and additions. This building houses courtrooms, judge’s chambers, and new facilities for the Pinal County Sheriff including holding cells, interview rooms, office space, and K9 kennels. The smaller facility is now home to general offices for employees, including the assessor’s office and the recorder’s office, as well as space for the District 4 supervisor.

“We have truly enjoyed working with the Pinal County officials and could not be happier with how this project turned out,” said Jeff Eells, Sr. Project Manager, Johnson Carlier. “The Pinal County Complex will be a place for both Pinal County officials and residents of the City of Maricopa to conduct business for many years to come.”

Johnson Carlier Construction, the oldest Arizona-based general contractor, is an independently managed entity of the Big-D family of companies.
