Entering 100th Year in Business, Rosendin Electric’s Innovations Lead Industry

Rosendin Electric (Rosendin) may not be a household name, but the electrical contracting company is one of the biggest and oldest in the country and its work can be seen across the Valley. This week, company leaders will announce big changes as they mark 100-years in business nationally and 25-years in business in Arizona.

To celebrate these milestones, Rosendin will hold a special luncheon on January 2 at its regional headquarters located at 1375 West Drivers Way in Tempe, featuring a new documentary video.

In the Valley, Rosendin helped build dozens of highly advanced, large scale projects including:

  • New Tempe Streetcar

  • ASU Chandler Innovation Center

  • Phoenix Convention Center renovation

  • Salt River-Pima Maricopa Indian Community Data Center

Rosendin’s Tempe office is an industry leader with innovations including new tools which are safer and more efficient, and proprietary technologies using virtual reality and augmented reality for training, installation and quality control.

“Rosendin is proud to honor our 25-year history in Arizona and our 100-year history in the U.S.,” said Brandon Stephens, Division Manager in Tempe. “Our team’s enterprise mindset is not only good for the company, but it also attracts a new generation of talent to the construction industry.”

The Tempe office also supports the local community, sponsoring or volunteering events such as the bi-annual Sky Harbor Coalition Neighborhood Clean-Up, Junior Achievement, Toys for Tots, Race for the Sun and Arizona Construction Career Days.

Founded in 1919 by Moses Rosendin, Rosendin employees will also honor its 100-year history on January 2 at the national headquarters in San Jose, California. For more information, visit www.rosendin.com.
