ADM Group, Inc., the Southwest’s premier, locally-owned architecture, design and project management firm, is proud to announce that Jenifer Weskalnies, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB, has been promoted to Principal/Director of Architecture for the firm.
Weskalnies, who joined ADM Group in 2009, has served for the past five years as its Director of Architecture. Throughout her tenure, she has been a leader on dozens of projects, many of which have earned local and national recognition (recent examples include West Point High School in the Tolleson Union High School District, The Madison Center for the Arts in the Madison School District in Phoenix and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Cultural Repository).
ADM Group Principal and co-founder Ben Barcon said, “Jenifer is a best-in-class architect. From the beginning of a project all the way through to the end product, she is a collaborative, approachable partner with an uncanny ability to help clients refine and articulate their vision. Her creative thinking and technical expertise has helped ADM Group build a solid reputation for designing outside the box and developing long-term relationships.”
Weskalnies graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona College of Architecture. She has done everything from residential remodeling to large-scale commercial projects and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Jenifer is also a LEED Accredited Professional and is licensed in Arizona, Texas and California.
Weskalnies says she is passionate and proud of the work she does. “I really enjoy showing our projects to new and returning clients, telling them how and why we used certain techniques, and share ‘lessons learned’ – what we did well, what we could have done better. Through that process, we help them figure out the best vision for their project.” She added, “I guess it’s part of my personality to go for perfection. No matter what I’m doing, as an architect, a member of the community or as a mom, I always strive to do my very best.”
Barcon says Weskalnies will be a key player in creating ADM Group’s future. “Our regional footprint is expanding, along with our areas of practice, particularly in aviation and solar sustainability. Jenifer’s ability to deliver precisely what the client expects will remain critically important as we enter this next phase of growth.”
Jenifer Weskalnies and her husband live in the Phoenix area and are raising two very active boys.
