Cannon & Wendt Electric announces the promotion of Chuck Celaya to Manager of Construction Servi

Cannon & Wendt Electric Co., one of the leading electrical service firms in the Valley, is pleased to announce the promotion of Chuck Celaya to manager of construction services and Bryce Godard to manager of preconstruction and design. Both Celaya and Godard will work in conjunction with one another to lead the company’s construction efforts and discover more ways to fulfill the needs of Cannon & Wendt’s clients.

“Bryce and Chuck have dedicated many years of their time and energy into continually improving our project quality and industry relationships," said Shane Snyder, Cannon & Wendt President. "Their hard work and experience do not go unnoticed; I couldn't think of two better professionals to take on these positions for our company."

Celaya has over 32 years of experience with Cannon & Wendt and, having originally started with the company in 1988 as an apprentice electrician, has experienced every position from apprentice to project supervisor. He brings a depth of experience working on projects, including Corning Gilbert, Maricopa County Sherriff’s Training Facility, and Sky Harbor Airport. In his most recent position as project supervisor, Celaya managed numerous data center projects throughout the Valley.

“I look forward to continuing to add to the growth and success of Cannon & Wendt for years to come,” said Celaya, manager of construction services. “Working to develop the current and future employee owners of Cannon & Wendt is an exciting task that I am proud to champion and help build upon the existing programs we have in place.”

Godard has over 20 years with the company and, having started his career as a project manager for Cannon & Wendt, has gradually taken on larger projects in upwards of $20 million. With the industry moving in a direction that requires strong preconstruction and design processes, this new position has been created to devote even more attention to preconstruction and design.

“I plan to continue to provide our customers with the valued service we have been known for over the past 75 years, along with expand our current processes to create an even stronger experience for customers, employees and the community,” said Godard, manager of preconstruction and design.

Celaya and Godard’s promotions have been part of the strategic succession planning for the company for quite some time as they prepare for what the future looks like. For nearly 75 years, Cannon & Wendt has been a top electrical firm in the Valley through recruiting and hiring the best talent, which remains a top priority for growth.
