K2 Electric, one of the leading commercial electrical contracting companies in the Valley, recently contributed to the West Valley Mavericks Foundation, distributing over $375,000 in grants to 82 non-profit organizations in the west valley.
“It is truly an honor to be able to partner with such an amazing organization. Through them, our company is able to make a greater difference in our community,” said Jared Kredit, K2 Electric President. “Thank you to the entire K2 team for rallying around this cause. The impact does not go unnoticed.”
The West Valley Mavericks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to assist children and families, help people in need, and improve the quality of life in west valley communities.
“Without the support of local businesses large and small, we would not be able to deliver these critical funds on an annual basis,” said Mavericks sponsorship chair Erik Hernandez. “We truly appreciate the support we receive from K2 Electric every year.”
The beneficiaries of these funds welcomed the support. Tom Egan, president and CEO of Faith Service Life remarked, “We're overwhelmed by the support from our community and organizations like West Valley Mavericks Foundation."
Faith Service Life provides home and community-based services and energy-efficient, affordable housing to promote health, independence, and dignity. This year, their nutrition program for seniors and adults with disabilities in Peoria and Wickenburg have seen a huge increase in demand due to COVID-19. With the help of the West Valley Mavericks Foundation, Faith Service Life is 30 percent over budget. This is just one of the 82 organizations who benefitted from the support this year.
