CHASSE Building Team Leader Taylor Perkins Honored as School Champion of the Year at the 2024 School Connect Champions of Education Awards

CHASSE Building Team is pleased to announce that long-time team member Taylor Perkins was among the local leaders honored with the 2024 School Champion of the Year Award at the School Connect Champions of Education Awards, which took place on April 25 at Orange Tree Resort in Scottsdale.  The School Connect Champions of Education Awards event honors those who lead with heart and help schools and districts to build a brighter future for Arizona youth.

Each year, the School Champion of the Year is awarded to a leader who has built trusted relationships with school leadership and the community. By listening to the school's strategic goals and the community's needs, the School Champion has facilitated collaboration amongst parties, tracked and communicated progress, and celebrated the entire team’s efforts toward student success!

Taylor Perkins is director of Business Development at CHASSE Building Team, focused on the firm’s award-winning K-12 division. She is also co-chair of CHASSE’s extensive community giving arm, leading small- and large-scale philanthropic/volunteer efforts ranging from CHASSE school STEM programming to the firm’s annual CHASSE-Giving Meal Program. Perkins serves on the board for the Arizona Association for School Board Officials; Education Foundation for the Buckeye Elementary School District; Nadaburg Unified Elementary School District Foundation; Littleton Education Foundation; and A4LE, helping bridge architecture and learning spaces with education.

Perkins is a member of Urban Farming Education, helping create urban gardens at schools to teach children how to cultivate their own food; and serves on the Arizona Business and Education Coalition Golf Committee; Florence Education Foundation Event Committee; Paradise Valley Education Foundation Golf Committee; and Alhambra Education Foundation Golf Committee. She also co-founded the Cactus Club for the Madison School District.
