NTI Open House - Veterans Can Access Education Benefits for Fast-Track Training in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Programs

WHO:            In celebration of Veterans Day (Nov. 11), National Technical Institute (NTI), a state-approved trade school, invites military veterans and their families to discover how their service experience translates into successful trades careers. This special Open House on Monday, November 10 connects veterans with hands-on training opportunities in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical fields - careers currently experiencing critical workforce shortages.

WHAT:             With Phoenix adding nearly 85,000 new residents in 2023-2024, the Valley faces mounting workforce gaps. NTI is reaching out to veterans and their eligible dependents to consider a career in the trades. Veterans possess the discipline, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills that make them ideal candidates for these in-demand careers; careers that cannot be outsourced or automated - real work in an increasingly virtual economy.

The open house will feature:  

• Tour of NTI’s real-life, hands-on training facilities – advanced labs featuring relevant HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment in the industry

• Meet & Greet with instructors who are veterans, went into the trades and now teach at the school

• Free NTI Veteran Challenge Coin for the first 25 guests
