McCarthy Preconstruction Team Promotes Brett Foster to Director

With exponential growth poised for the Southwest construction market, McCarthy Building Companies is pleased to announce that Brett Foster has been promoted to preconstruction director.

In this new role, Foster will add value during preconstruction to maximize the project team’s vision while also managing cost. These efforts will allow McCarthy to continue growing as a business and become more integrated in alternative project delivery.

Foster has served as a member of McCarthy’s preconstruction team for the last seven years.

“Brett’s all-in commitment to his work, focus on client experience, and partnership with internal and external teams has helped our McCarthy team elevate the bar within preconstruction,” said Matt Lyons, senior vice president of preconstruction.

Foster’s experience has spanned across all areas of McCarthy, including some of the largest self-perform concrete projects including Vegas-based Allegiant Stadium (Raiders) and Circa Hotel as well as the Kansas-based Tomahawk Wastewater Treatment Plant. He has also led preconstruction on a variety of projects within Arizona commercial and education markets, allowing him to build deep relationships with the local design and trade partner community.

Foster received his bachelor’s degree in construction management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). He has his associate constructor license from the American Institute of Constructors and is a member of the Arizona Builders Alliance’s Young Builders Committee.
