Traffic Control Focus of May/Jun ACC Issue

Warning! Warning! In this issue, we’re exploring traffic control and work zone evolution from the early days of the automobile, when contractors set up makeshift barricades to warn of danger, through the present, with the development of AI instructions.

Another focus is on celebrating Rummel Construction’s 30-year anniversary. During this period, the company has evolved from a two-person startup working out of a spare bedroom to one of the Southwest’s leading heavy civil contractors. “Starting our own company was always a dream,” Rick Rummel says.
