VanTrust Real Estate Hires Phoenix Real Estate Veteran Joe Ihrke to Lead Southwest Office

VanTrust Real Estate, a full-service, national real estate development company, announced the addition of 30-year real estate veteran Joe Ihrke as Executive Vice President. Leading the Phoenix-based Southwest regional office, Ihrke will step into the role previously held by Keith Earnest, who was recently promoted to Executive Vice President of National Accounts.

In his role, he will lead company projects and local office operations to increase market share in the diverse market sectors they develop, including industrial, office and multi-family housing. The Phoenix office oversees development opportunities in the Arizona, Nevada and California markets.

Ihrke has nearly 30 years of experience in all facets of the commercial real estate industry including acquisitions/dispositions, development, leasing, asset management, and property management of office, industrial, and retail properties. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President for Trammell Crow Company in Phoenix. Prior to that, Ihrke spent 25 years with Carlson Real Estate Company in Minneapolis and Phoenix.

Dave Harrison, President of VanTrust, said “Joe is an outstanding addition to our team. His expertise and experience compliments VanTrust’s existing platform and will build upon the team’s prior success consisting of more than six million square-feet of office, industrial, and multi-family projects delivered during the last six years.”

"I am very excited to come on board with the VanTrust team,” said Ihrke. “They have an excellent reputation for delivering quality projects across a wide variety of asset classes. Engaging with a highly respected privately-owned organization aligns perfectly with my long-established career of working for a private developer with an appetite for a diversified portfolio."
