Diversified Partners, a leading Scottsdale-based real estate brokerage and development firm, celebrated the official groundbreaking of its newest project—a freestanding Starbucks located at 3441 E Andy Devine Ave in Kingman, Ariz. The event drew city leaders and community members, including Mayor Ken Watkins, Vice Mayor Cherish Sammeli, members of the City Council, City Manager Timothy Walsh Jr., and staff from the City’s Economic Development Department.

“This groundbreaking is more than just a new coffee shop—it represents continued investment in our community, job creation, and the confidence businesses have in Kingman’s future,” Mayor Watkins said.

The new Starbucks will include a 2,450-square-foot building with a dedicated drive-thru lane on a 1.06-acre parcel, and the development is valued at $3.08 million. Construction began immediately following the event, with delivery to Starbucks expected in approximately 16 weeks. After tenant improvements, the store is expected to open to the public in late 2025. Matt Mitchell is the contractor, and Arland Encallado from RKAA is the architect.

“This development reflects the increasing demand for high-quality drive-thru retail in Kingman and is a strong indicator of the market’s long-term potential,” said Bennett Bratley, the city’s economic development director.

“This is another exciting project for us and a great addition to a growing market,” said Walt Brown Jr., founder and CEO of Diversified Partners. “We’re proud to work alongside the city of Kingman to bring in national brands and elevate the commercial offerings for residents and travelers alike.”

The project marks a key addition to Kingman’s expanding commercial corridor.
