Diversified Partners to continue national expansion of Bar K experiential dog parks
with accelerated expansion plan (100 locations by 2027)
– Diversified Partners, a national real estate development and management company, is excited to announce its grand initiative to roll out Bar K's experiential dog parks on a national scale. After two years of diligent efforts to purchase the company, Diversified Partners is finally acquiring Bar K, and the acquisition is now officially in escrow. As part of this momentous move, the corporate office will be relocated to Arizona.
Bar K has garnered immense popularity with its unique concept of experiential dog parks that offer a delightful blend of a modern bar, restaurant and event space catering to both dogs and their families. Diversified Partners’ planned expansion involves the establishment of 100 new Bar K locations across major metropolitan markets throughout the United States and Canada by 2027. Markets will include Atlanta, Austin, Texas, Baltimore, Charlotte, N.C., Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Ohio, Dallas, Denver, Fort Worth, Texas, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Fla., Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Tenn., Orlando, Fla., Phoenix, Riverside, Calif., Sacramento, Calif., San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Calif., Seattle, Tampa Bay, Fla., and Virginia Beach, Va. The nationwide rollout is expected to generate over 500 jobs in 2024 and 2025.
The Bar K model revolves around providing a paradise for dogs and people: imagine having a beer and burger and watching your dog have the time of its life. Owners report that their dogs know where they are going and can’t wait to get there (i.e., saying “Do you want to go to Bar K?” elicits major doggie excitement). There are highly trained “dogtenders” who keep the dog activity areas safe for everyone, including children, so that a visit to Bar K becomes a true family outing complete with everyone’s best friend.
