Sept/Oct Issue Released!

The 41st issue of Arizona Contractor & Community Magazine focuses on three mid-century Phoenix contractors: B.L. Gustafson, Porter “P.W.” Womack, and Andy Womack. Each brought a unique personality to their business: B.L. loved horses, P.W. enjoyed social networking, and Andy thrived as a rodeo clown and owner of Chez Nous, Phoenix's stylish cocktail lounge.

We also feature two overlooked individuals in Arizona design: Albert Chase McArthur, the architect of the Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort (sorry Frank Lloyd Wright!), and groundbreaking African-American architect Rushia Glen Fellows.

Thanks to our contributors, including James Abell, Alison Bailin Batz, Michael Bernstein, Tom Harrison, Jason Krankota, Tom Pickrell, and Douglas Sydnor.

Copies are available via the ACC website or at Books on Seventh Avenue in Phoenix, or Ignite Sign Art Museum in Tucson.
