Eight TraVek Team Members Become NARI Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodelers

During the months of April and May, select members of the TraVek staff underwent an intensive course to pass an exam to become NARI Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodelers (CKBR). Eight team members passed the course to gain their CKBR title. This certification signifies the remodeling contractor’s professional knowledge and technical expertise in remodeling kitchens and baths.

To take the CKBR course and test, participants must have worked full time in the remodeling industry for five years. The course can take up to 16 weeks to adequately prepare for the exam and assesses knowledge of over 20 remodeling task areas including building code, construction law, and business methods and ethics.

“As someone who has gone through the course myself, it was fun and interesting to observe the team going through it from the other side. We are proud of their work and dedication to improving their skill sets and effectively raising the bar for TraVek and remodeling in the Phoenix area as a whole,” remarked TraVek President, Von Raisanen.

NARI is the National Association of the Remodeling Industry and the premiere organization of remodeling professionals in the United States. Through these types of training and courses, NARI advances and raises the standards for the remodeling industry.
